Kevin Valler was born in Fareham. He joined the legal profession in 1986, qualifying first as a Legal Executive, and then as a Solicitor. Kevin worked primarily for Coffin Mew & Clover and Lamport Bassitt before joining Pinto Potts LLP Solicitors (now Pinto Potts Solicitors) in 2000. He was appointed as a Partner in 2011.

Kevin specialises in personal injury work, Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Areas of Expertise: Whilst Kevin’s work on Personal Injury matters has covered a broad spectrum of claim types, he has developed expertise in disease claims dealing with Hearing Loss, Asbestos Related Disease, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, Occupational Asthma, and Dermatitis claims.

He also spends a significant amount of time advising in the area of Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Notable cases:
Kevin has particularly fond memories of acting for a client, who had been diagnosed with cancer, tracing her employer, identifying that the firm had ceased trading, finding its insurers, arguing over the cause of the cancer and eventually recovering substantial compensation. The constant uphill struggle was daunting, but well worth the end result for his seriously ill client.

Personal Interests:
Away from the office, Kevin’s current passion is rock-climbing. When he is not falling off climbing walls, Kevin might be found playing a little golf, perhaps camping or enjoying classic cars.
