Nigel Cragg

Operations Director

Nigel Cragg was born in Wakefield. Nigel was educated at Leeds Polytechnic and worked in a large firm in Leeds until moving south in 1985. He joined a large national firm in 1987 as a divisional executive board member and joined Pinto Potts in 2001 as Operations Director. Nigel is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Areas of expertise:
Nigel has a wealth of knowledge in personal injury claims including Accidents at Work, Road Traffic Accidents, Industrial Disease, as well as Hospital acquired infections such as MRSA and C Difficile. Nigel also heads the Pinto Potts Care Home Fee Recovery department, seeking compensation for individuals whose needs were incorrectly assessed by the NHS.

Notable cases:
Mr K: Nigel represented a member of our Nepalese community, a Gurkha in his 20′s, who very sadly suffered a serious injury, having his arm blown off in a training exercise that went wrong. Mr K was awarded £100,000 in compensation, which helped this young man to carry on with his life with the help and support he needed.

Personal Interests:
In his spare time, Nigel enjoys Cycling, Squash and Golf as well as supporting his daughter who plays Hockey for the Sussex Under 16′s Club.
