Accident at Work ClaimsAn apprentice Tree Surgeon who was injured at work when he fell out of a tree has won his compensation claim.

The man’s employers admitted liability for the accident after photographic evidence showed that some of the metal safety links securing his safety harness had been twisted causing damage and making them incapable of locking securely, which caused him to fall.

The man fell a distance of six feet suffering broken ribs and a fracture to his right arm.

The compensation settlement figure is believed to be in the region of £15000.
