Cartel Client Review were yesterday (18th March 2010) closed down by the Ministry of Justice leaving tens of thousands of people looking for help and wondering what will now happen to their claim.
The closure of Cartel Client Review follows the Solicitors Regulation Authority decision to cease the trading of partner law firm Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors for “suspected dishonesty”.
Media reports have stated that some 70,000 people have signed up with Cartel Client Review and CCLS to try and claim back money in relation to loans and mis-sold payment protection insurance, many paid upfront fees and will now be left wondering whether they will recover any of their money.
