Pinto Potts Solicitors a specialist personal injury firm in Aldershot require a Para-Legal to work in a new “preliminary” department dealing with the setting up of new personal injury matters, assessing the merits of success, advising clients on the law regarding Health and Safety, Limitation, Date of Knowledge and Damages.

The role will include completing risk assessment documentation, direct inter-face with potential new clients to obtain information to sufficiently and accurately risk assess cases, prepare client care documentation and Conditional Fee Agreements.

The successful candidate will also be required to give verbal explanations .

Successful candidates will be computer literate have a good telephone manner and a commitment to work as a team and will have done personal injury and clinical negligence elective in LPC.

There may be more than one vacancy of this type and the role has the opportunities for the right candidate to develop their legal skills in the field of personal injury and possible progression within the firm although currently no training contracts are being offered

Candidates should expect a starting salary, depending on age and experience of between £14,000.00 and £17,000.00 per annum.

We currently have a vacancy for a personal injury fee earner to handle a predominantly road traffic accident caseload with prospects for progression to other more varied personal injury work.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience and will ideally have good computer literacy, a working knowledge of the Civil Procedure, be personable and smart and will be able to demonstrate an ability to handle road traffic predictable fee cases with minimal supervision to litigation stages.
