A dog is to be put down after it attacked an expert who had been called in to prove it was not dangerous.
The owner had asked an animal psychologist to examine his German shepherd which had attacked four children and two men in two years.
But the psychologist was attacked and bitten by the dog as he took notes about how it was behaving.
Now a Judge in Greater Manchester has ordered that the dog be put down.
The dog’s victims included a seven year old boy and a girl aged eleven.
The dog’s owner was convicted of owning a dog that caused injury and received a twelve month suspended jail sentence and was banned from keeping pets for ten years.
