David Pinto, CEO of Pinto Potts Solicitors and a team of 6 others recently completed a charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, which is the world’s tallest free standing mountain.
The team managed to raise over £60,000 for their supported charity, The Oliver Foundation which helps homeless and deprived children in the region.
The build up to the Kilimanjaro climb attracted a lot of local interest with features in newspapers and interviews aired on the radio.
The climbers took seven days to reach the summit, having to combat extreme temperatures, altitude sickness and exhaustion along the way.
